Fleetwood substation operational

The newly operational substation in Bold Street, with Flexity 003 at the Fleetwood Ferry stop
The new electricity substation in Bold Street, Fleetwood is now operational. The substation began providing power to the tramway from Sunday 1st July, coincident with the introduction of the new enhanced frequency timetable. This means that the previous token operated section north of Ash Street has now been dispensed with, and normal operation has resumed all the way to the Ferry.

More than one Flexity can operate on the Ash Street to Ferry section now, with 008 & 011 seen at North Albert Street
