Beside the Seaside

Blackpool Brush car 630 departing Wakebridge for Glory Mine
The first day of the 'Beside the Seaside' event at Crich saw atrocious weather conditions on the Sunday, but the torrential rain had eased off by Monday allowing the following selection of photographs to be taken. Trams in service in the morning were Blackpool 166, 236 and 630, Southampton 45 and Berlin 223 006-4. Mid-afternoon saw Blackpool Standard 40 leave the depot to join the five trams that were already in service, making a total of six trams running. The weather conditions were much more photogenic than on the Sunday, with enough gaps in the heavy cloud to allow a decent selection of sunny shots to be taken.
