New route branding for Transpora North West's Service 24

Transpora North West are introducing a new livery and route branding for their service 24, in partnership with Lancashire County Council & Blackpool Council. The first bus to carry the new colour scheme is Volvo B8R MCV Evora BD74FKE, which is seen here on 7th August on its first day in service in the new blue livery.

    1308 (BD74FKE) is the first of three Evoras that Transpora is painting in the new Line 24 livery. The shade of blue is BMW Voodoo Blue according to Philip Higgs, Managing Director of Transpora.
    As yet, the bus does not have its fleet numbers nor, indeed, the legal lettering (usually positioned on one of the rear nearside windows) required for it to operate in service.
    The Wyre logo is interesting inasmuch as Blackpool Transport's Line name for service 14 is also Wyre Line!

    Voodoo Blue is also used by Porsche.
