Back to the Blue

Early afternoon on 7th April, and the sea mist still blankets the Promenade as 631 heads south at Coral Island
The sea mist was up to its old tricks again on Tuesday 7th April, with the heritage trams back on the weekday blue timetable. Brush Car 631 and fat door Balloon 719 were operating the Heritage Tours between the Pleasure Beach and North Pier. By early afternoon, a mile inland from the seafront it was glorious blue skies, but on the Promenade the thick sea mist was still maintaining a vice-like grip over the tramway. By about 1430 the sun finally began to break through the Stygian gloom, and the Tower started to become visible again.
